A WHITE JADE SNUFF BOTTLE
1750-1850
Of rounded form, the bottle is carved in low relief on one side with a bat flying above a fruiting peach tree growing from the side of a cliff above breaking waves, and on the other side with a boy carrying a fruiting peach branch beside a kneeling boy carrying a covered bowl. The stone is of even white tone.
2 in. (5 cm.) high, quartz stopper with jadeite finial
