A CORAL 'PHOENIX AND MEIREN' CARVING
The carving consists of two meiren dressed in long flowing robes, one holding a jar in one hand, a phoenix perched on the other, its long tail cascading down its back between the two figures. The coral is of a bright rich color with some minor white specks. A two-character inscription, Wan Yue, possibly a signature, is on the base.
