A CLOISONNÉ AND CHAMPLEVÉ ENAMEL FIGURE OF A FEMALE IMMORTAL

The figure stands on a pedestal base with her right hand raised and her head inclined forward. She wears a blue jacket decorated with cranes, a sash-tied skirt decorated with various flowers, and a separately made scarf that billows above her shoulders. An apocryphal Qianlong four-character mark is cast on the base.
15 in. (38.2 cm.) high
Provenance
Acquired in New York in the early twentieth century, and thence by descent to the present owner.
