A FRENCH (J. VIELLARD & CIE.) FAIENCE 'NELLA' PATTERN PART TABLE-SERVICE
CIRCA 1875, BROWN OR BLACK PRINTED FACTORY MARKS AND PATTERN NAMES, IMPRESSED NUMERALS
Probably designed by Eugène Millet, printed and painted in enamels in the japonisme style with birds and scattered insects amongst flowers and foliage, within blue line rims, comprising: two circular tureens and covers, a fish platter and pierced liner, a two-handled double-lipped gravy boat on integral stand, a sauceboat and cover on integral stand, a comport, a footed circular dish, three smaller footed circular dishes, two basins in sizes, an oval tree and well meat platter, three oval platters in sizes, three circular platters in sizes, four small oval dishes, fifteen soup plates, forty-three dinner plates and twenty-four dessert plates
