A very fine copy, Poetry, comprising Majma' al-Akbar, Khusraw wa Shirin, Qasa'id, Muqata'at, Ghazaliyat, Ruba'yat, Persian manuscript on gold-speckled paper, 282ff. plus three fly-leaves, each folio with 17ll. of very fine black nasta'liq script, text arranged in one or two columns within double black-ruled gold divisions, text within black and blue-ruled gold frame, with catchwords, each of the six sections opening with a finely illuminated headpiece in gold and polychrome and with illuminated floral margins, colophon signed and dated, rubbed off later owner's inscriptions in very fine contemporaneous black morocco binding, with cusped floral medallions in gilt against a black background, with gold floral arabesques around, the reddish brown doublures with découpé medallions in two-colour gold again blue background
