Vol.III of III of this seminal work on Hanafi law, Arabic manuscript on paper, 253ff. plus two fly-leaves, each folio with 29ll. of black naskh script, with red comma-shaped markers, titles and occasional words in red, some marginal notes, catchwords, paginated, opening folio with large incipit in fine white thuluth script on gold ground within polychrome and gold illuminated cartouches and shamsa, preceded by index table, colophon signed and dated 4th of Ramadan, fly-leaf with later owners’ inscriptions and seal impressions, loose in binding, in 15th/16th century Ottoman composite brown morocco binding with flap with gilt and stamped decoration
