Qur'an XXIX (sura al-'ankabut), v.65 to Qur'an XXXVII (sura al-saffat), v.182, including sura heading for Qur'an XXXVIII (sura sad), Arabic manuscript on paper, 20ff., plus two modern fly-leaves, each folio with 19ll. of sepia maghribi script, readings marks in yellow and green, vocalisation in red, diacritics in sepia, verse markers in the form of triangular knots in gold or yellow, sura headings in yellow kufic script issuing a palmette medallion in the margin, with gold and/or polychrome marginal markers, occasional marginal notes, old repairs, in modern stamped binding
