A RIMLESS POTTERY DISH
POSSIBLY TEKFUR SARAY, OTTOMAN TURKEY, 18TH CENTURY
Of circular shallow form, on short straight foot, the blue, green and bole-red decoration consisting of a central rosette issuing tulips surrounded with floral sprays rising from bulbous vases, interspersed with floral garlands forming a lobed quatrefoil, a stylised hanging bunch of grapes above each, the glaze lightly scratched in places
11 ¼in. (28.7cm.) diam.
