LATE PERIOD-PTOLEMAIC PERIOD, CIRCA 664-130 B.C.
With ridged suspension hoop, 2.15/16 in. (7.4 cm.) high; and a steatite scarab, naturalistically modelled, the underside with a scarab flanked by two nefer-signs, with twisted cord frame, in later gold mount, Second Intermediate Period, circa 1700-1550 B.C., 5/8 in. (1.6 cm.) long

Dr. Rudolf Schmidt (1900-1970) collection, Solothurn, acquired May or June 1954; and thence by descent to present owner.
Item one: acquired May/June 1954 in Paris (blatt 064 verso).
