FOUR SOUTH ITALIAN VASES
PROPERTY FROM AN ENGLISH PRIVATE COLLECTION The following eight lots come from an English private collection, where they have been for nearly forty years. The acquisition of each piece is reflected in correspondence between the collector and Sam Dormont of The Archaeological Shop at the Hilton Hotel, Tel Aviv, who personally recommended pieces to his friend in the UK. The antiquities form part of the family's larger collection, put together over 65 years of travelling the world, and includes a wide breadth of artworks, from 19th Century Impressionists to Chinese porcelain. They are offered here at public auction for the first time.
