With blued barrels signed in gold on the rib and inlaid with gold swags and trophies of arms at each breech, silver fore-sight, engraved grooved tang, rounded locks each signed 'Croizier A Paris Cour Neuve Du Palais', figured walnut half-stock carved in low relief with flowering scrollwork, comb fitted with leather-covered pad, and chiselled bright steel mounts, the barrels retaining much original finish
27 ¾ in. (70.5 cm.) barrels
The breech struck with two marks, one involving a crowned triple fleur-de-lys flanked by palm fronds
