The rectangular case surmounted a figure of Cupid, the white enamel dial with Roman hours and signed Mathieu a Paris, the twin barrel movement with recoil anchor escapement, silk suspension and count wheel strike to bell; with a pair of cassolettes of vase form en suite, with ram's head handles, the lids enclosing a detachable nozzle
The clock: 16 ¼ in. (41.5 cm.) high; 7 ½ in. (19 cm.) wide; 5 ¼ in. (13 cm.) deep
