Each covered in Beauvais tapestry depicting pastoral scenes to the backs and Aesop's Fables to the seats, on stop-fluted legs, re-decorated
39 in. (100 cm.) high; 27 in. (69 cm.) wide; 23 in. (59 cm.) deep

Eight tapestry fauteuils, probably of this present set, are listed in the October 1786 inventory of Château d’Hauteville.
