A pair of Mason's Ironstone two-handled vases and covers
of fluted baluster form, the covers domed and pierced, with Budhistic lion finials, printed and painted with panels of leaves and urns and pierced rockwork issuing flowering branches on a dark-blue ground painted with leaves and flowerheads, applied with scrolling handles, blue seal marls -- 14½in. (36.8cm.) high, circa 1845 (2)
