AN INSCRIBED WHITE JADE 'MAGPIE AND PRUNUS' WRIST REST
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The wrist rest is carved in low relief with a magpie perched on a flowering prunus tree. The other side is carved with an inscription ending with a Zigang signature. The semi-translucent stone is of an even white tone with a small area of russet inclusion.
