A WHITE JADE 'CHILONG' GU-SHAPED VASE
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The globular mid-section of the vase is carved in low relief with three taotie masks between pendent plantain leaves. The inner mouth rim is carved in relief with two sinuous chilong contesting a flaming pearl.
