A WHITE JADE 'GEESE' GROUP
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The group is carved as a large goose and its young holding a spray of lotus and swimming on a curled lotus leaf supported on swirling waves. The semi-translucent stone is of an even pale greyish-white tone with some russet inclusions.
