A GROUP OF THREE SOAPSTONE SEALS
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The first is of pebble form, of rich caramel tone, and is carved in relief with a water buffalo and figure in a landscape. The second, also of pebble form, is carved with an old man holding his pipe. The last is an irregularly-shaped seal carved to the seal face with four characters in seal script, and incised to the vertical faces with an inscription.
