The late 19th Century gaff rigged racing sailing yawl 'Wave' of circa 1881 with main and mizzen masts, cotton sails, rigging, the planked hull with weighted keel and rudder, finished in pink, black and varnish (some restoration) -- 49½ x 52in. (123 x 132cm.). Two 1st Prize certificates issued by Clapham Model Yacht Club variously dated June ... and September 10th 1881 to S.R. Philpot, and a letter from a descendant to the Curator, Hastings Museum dated 2 August 1982 (4)
