THE ONLY EDITION OF 'PERHAPS THE RAREST OF ALL SPANISH BOOKS WHICH RELATE EXCLUSIVELY TO FALCONRY' (Harting). The extended title describes it as a treatise on the art of hunting with birds providing all necessary knowledge for their safe preservation, 'habla algunas cosas de halcones, y de todas aves de rapiña, yo como se han de curar y preservar para que no cayan en dolencias'. It contains the Spanish names derived from the Arabic for different species of hawk. Schwerdt had only seen one other copy in thirty years which was incomplete.
