Lot Essay

This distinctive bronze wall sculpture, appears to take inspiration from Henri Matisse’s seminal Dance paintings of 1909 and 1910. Whilst sadly unattributed, this bold work is clearly by the hand of a competent sculptor who has captured in bronze the freedom expressed in Matisse's famous works.
