Oblong folio (230 x 255 mm). 66 plates. (Some spotting, one corner bumped, light wear at the edges of a few leaves.) Original drab paper wrappers, paper label printed in black on the front cover (spine ends repaired, small losses at the corners, lightly yellowed, light wear at the edges). [Together with:] an erotic print on thin paper (190 x 253 mm), signed in the print and dated 1906, window-matted (short tear not affecting the print, paper fainty browned with a few light spots, light wear on verso from previous mounting). Provenance: Bloomsbury New York, 29 October 2008, lot 43 (the book only; lot ticket laid in).

TOGETHER WITH A RARE EROTIC PRINT NOT REPRODUCED IN THE BOOK. 66 Rissunkov collects work by this fine Russian follower of Beardsley, mainly illustrations in the Decadent style, contributed to publications like Vesy, and cover designs for Kuzmin's controversial novel Krylia, and others. Rare: AE and ABPC record no other copy of this work at auction.
