A PALE CELADON JADE MODEL OF BUDDHA
19TH-20TH CENTURY
The figure is carved seated in dhyanasana, wearing long robes draped over his shoulders which falls in folds at his feet. His hands are held in bhumisparsa, one holding an offering bowl. The stone is of a pale celadon tone with darker inclusions.

Acquired by the current owner in 1972.
