The vase is decorated with two cartouches enclosing a scene of The Eight Immortals, Baxian, gathered on a raft, with a crane in flight above and Liuhai standing on a toad, in reserve on a peach ground decorated with lotus scrolls in iron red. The base bears the mark Tong Yun Shan Fang.
