A LARGE OVER-PAINTED FLAMBÉ-GLAZED VASE
19TH CENTURY, LATER ENAMELS
The vase is covered with a streaky blue flambé glaze which is visible to the inner mouth rim. The exterior is over-painted in famille rose enamels with multiple dragons chasing flaming pearls, surrounded by scrolling clouds above a band of waves, all reserved on a black ground.
