A PALE CELADON AND RUSSET JADE BELT BUCKLE
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
Each side of the buckle is carved and pierced with the head and forelegs of a mythical beast, its facial features finely detailed. The pale celadon stone has russet inclusions.
3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) diam.
