A CHICKEN BONE JADE ARCHAISTIC TWO-HANDLED VASE
LATE 17TH CENTURY
The vase is intricately carved to the exterior with archaistic scrolls and taotie masks. The neck is carved and pierced with two dragon handles. The stone is of a rich creamy tone with attractive brownish-black streaks throughout.
