MARK OF JOHN QUICK, BARNSTAPLE, CIRCA 1620
The finial cast as a bust of the goddess Aphrodite resting on a scroll plinth, the stem engraved 'Honnor [sic] God' on punched ground, the bowl engraved with foliage on a matted ground, marked in bowl with 'berry' mark and on the stem three times with town mark
