A WHITE JADE AXE-SHAPED 'CHILONG' PENDANT
QING DYNASTY, 18TH-19TH CENTURY
The pendant is shaped as an axe surmounted by a finial in the form of a crouching chilong with its head turned down, the other side of the pendant with a smaller chilong clambering up from the bottom. The white stone has minor milky and russet inclusions.
