JIAQING FOUR-CHARACTER MARK IN IRON-RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
The cup is well-painted and gilt depicting the poet Li Bai leaning upon a bundle of scrolls next to a wine jar and ewer. He is accompanied by two inscriptions describing Li Bai's life and story, one of which above a large lotus flower.
3 1/4 in. (8.2 cm.) diam.
