A LARGE TRANSPARENT BLUE GLASS HU-FORM VASE
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The large vase is constructed with a compressed globular body rising from a tall slightly splayed foot to a broad cylindrical neck, the rim is encircled by a plain band while the shoulder and body are each deocrated with a horizontal raised rib between a pair of indented bands. The glass is of a deep sapphire blue colour.
