A PEWTER TEA CADDY AND COVER
QING DYNASTY, SIGNED SHEN CUNZHOU (1629-1709)
The ovoid body is engraved with Guanyin seated beside a vase and book, entitled Bore Xinjing, the Heart Sutra. It is accompanied by an inscription of the sutra, signed by Shen Cunzhou with one seal reading Zhu ju. The base is further inscribed.
