The sides carved in high relief with children dancing and seated at a table being served wine to the accompaniment of a band of musicians, the handle carved in the form of two kissing putti, the engraved and chased mounts set with coloured pastes, the thumbpiece in the form of a mythical animal head, cover with paste-set flower finial, silver-gilt interior
