Circular, with scalloped rim, the center painted with an open book titled 'History of The October Revolution 1917', the opposite page inscribed 'Petersburg 1921', atop a pile of books and a newspaper, amidst sprays of leaves and a gilt hammer and sickle, within a gilt cavetto band, marked under base with overglaze blue hammer and sickle and masked Imperial Porcelain Factory mark
