The single-pad arched top with loop handle, the 7 inch brass dial with Roman silvered chapter ring signed Edward Meeks Jnr./LONDON, the matted centre with date aperture and silvered cartouche inscribed in gothic script Take Time by ye Fore-lock/His bald behind, the three train movement with gut fusees and verge escapement, chiming on eight bells and striking on a larger bell, with trip repeat, engraved back plate; with winding key and case key
