37 volumes, 8° (220 x 145 mm). Frontispieces in most volumes, numerous plates throughout, a few facsimile signatures and inscriptions. Contemporary blue half morocco gilt, spines in 5 compartments with 4 raised bands, gilt-lettered in 2, the rest with gilt decorative borders, top edges gilt, others uncut (spines for vols. 1-30 sunned, some light wear to corners, edges, and a few hinges).

LIMITED EDITION, number 325 of 1024 copies of the "Definitive Edition" signed by Albert Bigelow Paine, Twain's Biographer, and SIGNED BY CLEMENS on a blank leaf tipped in to volume one: "S.L. Clemens Mark Twain".
