LIMITED EDITION, number 178 of 250 copies, SIGNED BY GEORGE AND IRA GERSHWIN, DUBOSE HEYWARD, AND ROUBEN MAMOULIAN. Gershwin based his opera on DuBose Heyward’s novel Porgy; Heyward wrote the libretto. This limited edition of the piano-vocal score was published in 1935, the year of the Broadway debut, almost simultaneously with the first edition.
