With 25 in. (63.5cm.) blacked nitro replacement barrels with matt Churchill rib respectively numbered '1' and '2' in gold, the No. 1 gun with gold-inlaid 'XXV' on the rib, No. 1 with 2 ½ in. (65 mm) chambers, No. 2 with 2 ¾ in. (70 mm) chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and ¼ choke, engraved blued toplevers respectively numbered '1' and '2' in gold, automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE', case-hardened actions and locks, the former each with 'EJC' monogram on the underside, the latter each signed within a ribbon, blued trigger-guards with slightly differing engraving, engraved throughout with scrollwork, figured 14 3/8 in. stocks, one replaced, the other with 1 ¾ in. wood extension, and vacant gold escutcheons, weight respectively 6 lbs. 11 oz. and 6 lbs. 7 oz.
