A VERY FINE 12-BORE TOPLEVER LIVE PIGEON HAMMERGUN
VICTOR SARASQUETA, EIBAR, SERIAL NO. 5006
With 30 in. (76 cm.) blacked signed nitro (2014 reproof) chopperlump Boehler steel barrels engraved with scrollwork at the breeches, 2 ¾ in. (70 mm) chambers, bored approx. full and full, case-hardened treble grip action chiselled with the Spanish Royal Arms against a trophy of arms on the underside, carved percussion fences each with gold-washed strikers and chiselled with dragons, pierced toplever, rebounding locks, articulated front trigger, trigger-guard chiselled with a trophy of hanging game, finely engraved throughout with running foliage and scrollwork, well figured 14 ½ in. stock with chequered butt, inlaid with a large gold crowned escutcheon engraved with the monogram 'A XIII', and old inventory label, retaining virtually all its original finish throughout, weight 7 lbs. 8 oz.
