CIRCA 3RD-7TH CENTURY A.D.
Including a Byzantine mold-made jug with a hexagonal body, the panels alternating with lattice pattern, lozenges and a stylized palm branch, an applied trail on the neck; and a Roman free-blown piriform footed jug; together with a Roman free-blown amber glass two-handled flask, circa 4th century A.D.
Tallest: 7½ in. (19 cm.) high
Provenance
Nahum Goldmann (1894-1982), acquired in Jerusalem in the early 1960s; thence by descent and brought to the U.S. in 1982.
