CHINE, DYNASTIE SONG DU NORD, XIEME SIECLE
The bowl is potted with steep rounded sides and a flared rim and is moulded to the interior with a central floral bloom surrounded by six further flowers and scrolling foliage. The exterior is carved with plain lines emanating from above the foot rim. It is covered in a olive-celadon glaze, pooling to a darker tone at the crevices to enhance the moulded decoration.
