CHINE, DYNASTY TANG, CIRCA VIIEME SIECLE
The horse stands four-square on a rectangular plinth. His muscular neck elegantly bowed, scratching his mouth with one of his fore-legs. The head is modelled with protruding eyes, flaring nostrils, and an open mouth. His back is covered with a saddle draped with an animal-skin.
