TIBET, XIXEME SIECLE
The winged Hayagriva is standing in alidhasana on several nagarajas reclining on the lotus base with his six hands holding his attributes. His face displays a wrathful expression and his flaming hair is decorated with three small horse-heads. He is surrounded by various lamas and spiritual masters. The lower register has three protecting deities including Shri Devi and Caturbhujamahakala, all placed in a mountainous landscape.
