TIBET, XVEME SIECLE
Padmasambhava is seated in vajrasana on a lotus base. His hands hold the vajra and kapala. He wears various garments including a patchwork mantle with its borders finely incised with scrolling tendrils. Around his neck is draped a necklace inlaid with red coral and turquoise beads. His face displays a severe expression with silver incrusted eyes, copper inlaid lips and turquoise bead set urna ; sealed
