of gadrooned rounded oblong form and on claw and ball feet, moulded with pen rests engraved with stylised scrolling foliage and fitted with two square glass inkwells and a matching pounce pot with unmarked beaded covers, the engraving on the inkstand possibly later, Charles Aldridge & Henry Greenaway, London 1771 - 8½in. (21.50cm.), 10.50oz. free excluding unmarked lids.
