The foliate cast frame with brass loop handle, the pewter chapter ring with Roman hours and Arabic inner five minute ring with Roman quarters, pierced hands; the three train movement with circular plates joined by baluster pillars, verge escapement and front swinging pendulum, the backplate with countwheel and quarter indication, signed 'Jacob Maÿer / Augspurg', engraved hammer heads striking two bells to the hinged case
20 ¼ in. (52 cm.) high, 14 ½ in. (37 cm.) wide, 2 ½ in. (6.5 cm.) deep
