According to their inscriptions, this painting was made for Yuan Nanzheng, and the rock was painted by Chen Peiqiu.

Yuan Nanzheng, who graduated from Anhui University in 1983, has worked in the field of cultural relics and museums for more than thirty years. He formerly served as vice secretary in the National Commission for Cultural Relics Identification and now is the general secretary of the Chinese Society of Museums and vice president of the Chinese Ancient Ceramics Society. He specializes in archeology and the research and identification of ancient objects, especially ceramics.
