Lot Essay

Liu Guansan (1872-1925) was from Gaomi in Shandong province. He participated in the United League of China in 1905 and was appointed as vice president of the Shandong branch after the Republic of China was established. Mr. Liu's collection was purchased directly from him by the present owners.
