A PALE OLIVE AND RUSSET JADE BLADE, GUI
CHINA, 2ND-1ST MILLENNIUM BC
The thick, slightly flared blade with softly rounded edges and slightly beveled 'cutting' edge, with two hafting holes drilled from one side, the softly polished, semi-translucent pale olive stone with areas of russet color and an area of opaque blackish-brown staining or alteration on one edge
