A MOTTLED WHITE, BROWN AND BUFF JADE ARCHAISTIC FITTING
CHINA, QING DYNASTY OR EARLIER
Of slightly waisted bead shape, the sides well carved with scrolls and the flat end with a whorl motif, the other end hollowed and fitted with a gold cap that screws into and is attached to a chain in the threaded interior, the stone of pale greenish-white color with areas of dark brown, and opaque buff color
